About Me

Welcome to MLB Salon, your one stop hair and cosmetic tattoo salon. My name is Mel and I am the owner/operator of MLB Salon and soon to be your personal hair stylist. I am a busy Melbourne born, mum of two beautiful children, my constant motivators Addison and Ari. I began my hairdressing journey 24 years ago and I was fortunate enough to train in a prestigious Award Winning Salon - The John Anthony Salon. 

I had the absolute pleasure to learn from the hair gods themselves Michelle Reiche Anthony and John Anthony and my passion for hair was ignited and only continued to grow as I further developed my skills and passion as a stylist and am proud to say a Multi-Award winning stylist at that.

In 2007, after the birth of my gorgeous daughter I decided it was time to take my passion to the next level and begin my journey owning and operating my own salon, where I have been able to expand my skills and knowledge and offer multiple services to ensure my clients feel and look amazing whilst enhancing their natural beauty. 

I pride myself on being down to earth and a great listener with an eye for detail and of course I am a major perfectionist. These services aren’t about me, they are about you, I want to know exactly what it is you are wanting and combining your wishes with my knowledge and passion I'll always deliver incredible results that compliment you and ensures each and every client that leaves my salon looks and more importantly feels amazing! 

My goal is not just to be your everyday hair salon, with this in mind I embarked on expanding my skills and becoming a qualified cosmetic tattoo artist training at Eyebrow Ink Academy where I specialised in Microblading / Feather Brows, Machine work for Powder Brows, Eyeliner and of course Lips.

We are all different and unique in our own ways and I want to ensure my services only ever enhance each individuals natural beauty, I have built amazing relationships with clients across the years and cannot wait to embark on this journey with you as well.
