Pre Cosmetic Tattoo Appointment Information

6 WEEKS BEFORE

  • Do not use Retin-A cream skin care products for 6 weeks before your procedure.

4 WEEKS BEFORE

  • Do not have chemical peels close to the area of your cosmetic tattoo.
  • Please do not have botox in your brow area for the 4 weeks leading up to your appointment.
  • Stop using AHA skincare products close to the area where you will be having your cosmetic tattoo procedure.

2 WEEKS BEFORE

  • Stop using eyebrow or lash hair stimulating products 2 weeks before your cosmetic tattoo procedure.
  • Avoid tanning so that we can see your natural skin tone.
  • Moisturise the area to be cosmetic tattooed daily with a mild moisturiser eg. QV cream.

  • Do not have IPL during the two weeks before your cosmetic tattoo procedure.

1 WEEK BEFORE

  • If you regularly tint, wax or thread your eyebrows please have this done no less than one week before your Microblading or eyebrow tattoo procedure.
  • Please stop using aspirin , ibuprofen and any vitamins that might thin your blood eg. fish oil. 
  • PLEASE SEEK APPROVAL FROM YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STOPPING ANY MEDICATIONS.

3 DAYS BEFORE

  • Avoid alcohol for 72 hours prior to your cosmetic tattoo procedure.

 24 HOURS BEFORE

  • Avoid caffeine.
